My role

Hired as UX and UI designer, turned the teams’ vision into the new features. I was cross-functional collaborator with dev team.

I was the one designer team for Annie Health, but joined after Design System was established.

Design stages

  • Annie Health's mission is to enhance hospice care quality and communication through user-friendly technology.

    What I did first:

    • Together with the Founder we prioritized features that support real-time quality measures, automated alerts and communication with stakeholders.

  • I continued to expand the Design System without too many changes (for the sake of sanity of engineers team).

    What I did in parallel:

    • Worked on many prototypes, iterating based on feedback from the Founder and engineers

    • Kept on adding notes and/or clickable prototypes for devs explaining the functionality

  • Again, as always, I put some time and effort into knowing who I work with and how I can make their life easier. I kept asking for feedback on new designs in terms of time + effort to implement.

  • I launched the website for Annie. Built in Squarespace to make it simple, easy to edit and to implement.

    What’s more:

    • Worked on many, maaaany healthcare confrences and sales materials.

  • The platform keeps on growing, and so its number of feautres. As it becomes more complex it was important to keep it easy to navigate.

We implemented features such as real-time quality surveys, automated alerts for unmanaged symptoms, and summary reporting across multiple measures and personas (roles), such as Clinical Team (nurses, providers), Payer, Admins.
